How to reach Isla Fresia

Isla Fresia Hunting Resort is located 40 miles by road east of the city of Osorno and of the closest domestic commercial airport. Osorno lies some 600 miles south of Santiago de Chile, the main entry port for international flights to Chile.

There are two or more daily flights between Santiago and Osorno. Osorno is also connected by road to Santiago (600 miles), to Bariloche, Argentina (180 miles), and to locations farther to the south of Chile, such as Puerto Montt (60 miles), the point of departure to the famed canal region and the far south fiords. There are comfortable bus services and rented cars are also available throughout the country.

Our visitors are usually picked up at Osorno airport, from where they reach Isla Fresia after slightly more than one hour car ride and short lake crossing on our motor boat. Alternative aiports to reach our lodge are Puerto Montt, Valdivia and Bariloche (Argentina).

Airfares from your home country to Santiago de Chile can be obtained from your favorite travel agent, airlines, internet, etc..

Hotel rates in Santiago are in the 80 to 200 US$ range. Most international hotel chains are well represented.

Airfares from Santiago to Osorno vary between 150 and 300 US$ round-trip depending on the season and ticket availability.

Once you arrive in Osorno, we take care of your ground transportation during your visit to our island hunting resort at no additional cost.
